My experience at the event:

That's what we needed hours after arriving in Italy after a very long trip via Ethiopia: a race. With all my italian friends and family, I convinced everyone (including my wife, Lindsey, her cousin Debbie and her two teenager daughers) to wake up and run a 10km in the fields of Cantalupo on a Sunday morning. While the elevated oxygen in our blood helped us achieving decent results (I finished in the top 50, shame there was no proper classification), the incredible level of humidity and temperature in the air tempered our efforts to be even more awesome.

My cousin Davide finished just after me. And Debbie had a great under the hour time.
Overall it was a great experience to get out and run with a big group of people! The medal was great but the best part of it was the food-pack that we received after the race, well worth more then the 5 euro we spent to enter!
